1-1-3 “Quick Switch” Zone Defense

*Learn a unique and versatile zone defense that can confuse your opponent in under 1.5 hours

This product contains:

-1-1-3 Notes - How I discovered the defense and the benefits of running it

-1-1-3 Diagrams - How all the slides work, and how to drill it

-1-1-3 Raw Clips - 11 minutes of tightly edited game film clips

-1-1-3 Breakdown Film - 28 minutes of film with commentary about the execution

This is NOT a 2-3 zone with stacked guards. This is a unique zone that not a lot of coaches are familiar with. It features unique slides not seen in other standard zones. Out of a zone, it allows you to deny reversal passes, extend it up the court into a press defense, and is very strong up the middle defending high ball screens and the high post.

This zone allows x5 to stay close to the basket quite often, but ultimately speed and execution are more important than size in the 1-1-3 defense. It contains the post well, allowing a lot of post fronting and quick post traps.

My ABSOLUTE FAVORTE thing I love about the 1-1-3 defense is that you can train it almost purely in your breakdown drills, without playing 5 on 5.

If you're looking for something unique that can cause a lot of confusion, give the 1-1-3 a hard look.

What Buyers are Saying:

"I recently purchased the 1-1-3 zone playbook and I have to say what a great purchase. I have bought many of Coach Hack's product and this might be my favorite. The zone is super unique and the slides makes it hard to prepare for. The pdf, diagrams and footage make this a must buy." -Ray Gaines, Central Florida

"Coach Hack does a great job diagraming the slides of the 1-1-3, as well as breaking down film on how his team did things correctly and incorrectly. As always he does an excellent job explaining why he chose to run the defense and provides useful nuggets of information throughout. Great Stuff!" -Brandon Kirk, Mississippi

"This was a very useful alternative to my defensive schemes. The 1-1-3 defense gave me the opportunity to stay in a 1-3-1 look, while changing the principals of the defense. Being able to apply constant ball pressure while also having the option to extend this defense full court makes the 1-1-3 defense a very useful tool."

-Donovan Womack, Los Angeles, California
