Wave - The 5-Out Euro Ball Screen Offense

*The definitive guide to learning "Wave" in under 1.5 hours

In 2014, the team I was coaching lost in the Ohio High School State Finals to a GREAT defensive team. We ran our entire offensive package (dribble drive, sets, high ball screens, etc.) at them and could not get great looks. The feeling from that game led me on a search to find a great continuity offense that included screening, ball reversals and the option to use it for interior shots or perimeter shots.

The search culminated in finding the 5-Out Euro Ball Screen Offense from watching the Olympics. We took the basics of the offense, added some bells and whistles, and made it something that could accomplish all we were looking for in an offense. We incorporated sets out of the flow of the offense, motion numbered cutting principles and various entries to spice things up.

The guide for sale is a 78 page extremely detailed pages on this offense and all the teaching points involved in making it your offense.

"The Wave offense was a great addition to our offensive playbook. It creates wonderful action to help score the ball. My players enjoy running it and opponents dislike defending it! -J.W. Senft Jr., New Jersey

"Loving the Wave offense! Installed for our fall league. Our guys have bought in and feel our personnel fits it well. Wave provides natural spacing and allows for my four man to play on the perimeter." -Charlie Clark, Florida

"I love the Wave Offense guide because of how comprehensive it is. I didn't have much coaching experience with any ball screen offence and it gave me all the tools I needed to help my high school girls team develop their skills and decision-making." -Dean Walls, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

"I purchased the Wave Offense packet 6-7 years ago and our program still uses it today in grades 5-12.  It is Easy to read and use." -Nate Hill, North Robinson, Ohio

"I have implemented this offense and have seen an impact on our offensive flow and production. It really allows our guards to play free and make good decisions. Thanks for the product!" -Michael Sanders, Dewey, Oklahoma

"I purchased the Wave Offense for my High School Girls team and found tremendous success implementing it. I had two quality post players and wanted to use their talents to enhance the rest of the players. This offense delivered. The players loved the movement and flow it had. We were a weaker team in the division but we ended up surprising many teams." -Mark Zacharius, Regina, Saskatchewan

"I cannot thank you enough for this offense, Coach Hack! We were running something similar, and these ideas took our offense to a whole new level." -Eric C., Ohio

"I have been using Coach Hack's Wave offense with my team. I love how Coach Hack breaks down every aspect of the offense and how detailed he is with the counters to the defensive actions. Excellent resource!" -Phillip Whitley, Rockport, MA

"Wave is a great offensive system that allows you the ability to play multiple ways but always have a baseline offense to fall back to. My 1st yr using it we won the Post Grad National Championship and landed me a college job 2 yrs later.  Still run today as my base offense." -Michael Mason, New Jersey

"Our high school team already runs a form of the Wave as one of our continuity offenses, but this resource from Coach Hack will take it to another level.  I like how this offense flows seamlessly out of transition, and the different sets you can run out of this offense to get the type of shot that you want . I also love the implementation checklist to make sure we are breaking down the offense in the right way when introducing it to new players. This is a great resource and very detailed!" -Matt Dohlman, Abel, Iowa

"Overall Coach Hack does a tremendous job with the detail of the offense in the PDF. The best part of the offense are his breakdown drills and counters to the offense." -Richie Beard, Dublin, OH

"I began installing Wave this year and having fun exploring the different reads with the team. It’s structured enough where I can have a basic outline to digress out of when teaching the principles of good offensive reads. I used to run read and react and still able to teach many of the same principles. I like how it’s really a game of 1 guard and 1 big on one side of the floor vs 2 guards and 1 big on the other side." -Alex Wong, San Francisco, CA

"The Wave Euro Ball Screen Offense has allowed us to "stretch" our bigs and utilize high/low action along with catching teams switching on the ball screen, which then allows our bigs to post up on smaller players not accustomed to defending the paint." -Brent Thoren, Iowa

"Wave can be used as a great teaching tool for players to learn how to make good reads and attack the hoop, and it will work exceptionally well if you have a group of skilled players. Definitely recommend giving this system a shot!"  -Coach Josh Verdes, Chapel Hill NC

"I've been running the wave offense. I actually love putting guards in the big spots and letting them pick and pop!" -Brock Streitmatter, Central Illinois
