This course by Coach Matt Kramer features three large components that all tie together to form one cohesive system for a relentless fast break.
If you want to play fast, and keep attacking through your regular transition, into your half court offense, and even when you get pressed, this course covers all scenarios using the same base concepts.
The three large components that make up this course are:
1. The Run and Stun Fast Break
A fast break offense keeps pressure on your opponent, takes pressure off your half court offense, and creates a faster tempo to a game. In this video explanation and 89 page portion of the course, Coach Kramer presents how the fast break system can give your team an identity to build around.
Coach Kramer shows all 5 of the daily drills he uses to create the "functional speed" necessary to execute this system at a high level.
2. Run and Stun II - Keep Attacking
This portion of the course has a video explanation video and writing of 63 pages in length all about secondary options out of your fast break. It can be consumed independently of the original "Run & Stun" or as a compliment to it.
If you have a strong transition push, but would like better "flow" into offense at the conclusion of your push, this portion of the course will teach you exactly that.
3. Press Offense - A Game of Chess
This portion of the course features 111 pages of writing and an explanation video to demonstrate press offense from the following three angles:
1. As an extension of the “Run and Stun” fast break offensive attack.
2. As a chess match that matches wits with any extended defense.
3. As a high level insurance policy.
We learn press offense as a way to not just break the press, but to instill confidence into our players to punish the press, so much so that they truly believe the opponent is doing us a favor when they press. Your players will be saying, "Please Press Us!"
BONUS: “4-UP Wheeler” Chalk Talk (41 Minutes)
Coach Kramer and Coach Hack break down Coach Kramer’s preferred method to attack a 1-2-1-1 Diamond Press.
