1/ DETAILED AND THOROUGH RESOURCES
My “thing” is using long form writing to teach basketball coaches how to implement schemes within their teams and programs. I use video, interviews, and supporting documents mostly as a supplement for my long form writing.
The vast majority of things for sale on this store are detailed writing of 30 or more pages in length. If you like to learn this way, you will love these products.
I take pride in the technical side of things, the details. I want the depth of writing to take you way beyond the surface level of any topic you want to learn about. Many creators only show a few diagrams or leave you with more questions than answers. My goal is to allow you to think deeply about the schemes you want to learn about.
My products are designed to speed up the learning curve on what you want to learn, and lay out the framework for the implementation of the schemes.
2/ TARGET AUDIENCE
My products are for high school, middle school, and youth basketball specific - none of my content is stolen college or pro concepts that aren’t applicable to the high school level.
Many coaches have been misled watching Duke or some pro team execute a concept and think that it could be right for their high school team. It’s completely a different game. I strive to stay in the lane of concepts strictly relevant to high school, middle school, and youth basketball levels.
3/ PERSONAL TOUCH
My products are written by me personally, based purely on my experiences and experimentation as a coach. And the products on my store not written by me have been personally vetted by me, and all fit the mold of my products (high quality, detailed, thorough explanations).
My products are not:
-Notes someone took from a clinic by a bigger name coach
-Only diagrams with shorthand notes
-Someone without complete command of the subject matter presenting the information
I am not a faceless brand. I am one writer, writing about relatable high school basketball specific things. Most coaches find my work relatable because I’ve been exactly where you’ve been, and had to solve the exact same problems you are trying to solve.
I give you everything I have in each product - it’s not a college coach mailing in a clinic at 60% of his or her best.
Additionally, I am personally accessible to reach out to for solutions (because I actually did the things I’m teaching).
4/ GRASSROOTS APPROACH
I don’t think there is anyone else currently talking about high school basketball from a local, program building standpoint like I do.
While I like drills and X&Os, my main thing is high school basketball program building, and my content is unique to high school basketball coaches attempting to build their basketball programs.
This is the side of things often overlooked but makes the biggest difference - culture, fundraising, youth programs, community building, program organization, etc.
